You can make huge savings by sending Advertising Mail to your customers!
As we look to develop a “new normal” in light of Covid-19, many businesses are looking to boost their trading and advertising activity. This presents the opportunity for mail, and to make it easier, Royal Mail have introduced two new Advertising Mail incentives that are relevant for all sectors.
What is the incentive scheme?
The Back to Business scheme consists of two incentives to help businesses who are on their way to recovery following the current crisis.
The “Back to Business” incentive is aimed at businesses who are posting a minimum of 50,000 incremental mail items per quarter. For businesses who can commit to sending a minimum of 2.5 million incremental mail items per quarter, then the “Back to Business Extra” incentive is for you. Businesses who qualify for this incentive will receive even more favourable postage credit rates.
Both schemes allow you to send incremental Advertising Mail, Responsible Mail and Partially Addressed Mail volumes, to achieve postage credits that can be redeemed against future mailings.
When does the scheme begin?
In order to help businesses get back up and running, Royal Mail are offering these latest incentives at the earliest opportunity. The scheme will be available from 21st July 2020 and with mail volume expected to grow between now and December, what better time to make savings on your mailings!
The “Back to Business” incentives will run during Q2 (21st July to 26th September 2020) and Q3 (28th September and 24th December 2020). You can participate during Q2, Q3 or both quarters*.

Why mail now?
The current crisis has caused brands to rethink the way they are communicating with their customers. For 61% of UK consumers, simply hearing from a business on their response to Covid-19 is comforting, therefore it’s important your brand still engages with its audience.
